XiKI received my confirmation email for the purchase and browsed the discussion to note that the keycaps have been changed to a far uglier set with practically no notice. Not cool.
What is the battery life? Can it also be used wired?
What is used to program it? Proprietary software or something like QMK?
Is it hot swappable?
Looks like it could be a really awesome budget board.
Between the shipping delays and the product showing up here for less than the Massdrop price, I'm not feeling especially good about this. @Garychan can you provide any update on an expected shipping date?
@Julcy I reached out to support 2 days ago, they could not provide me with any additional info, just said "we're working to sort this out" essentially. I'm guessing (or at least hoping) that as @Garychan said, the products have been shipped but they may have failed to provide Drop with the shipping info (that would then be forwarded to us). I don't think there is anything left to do but to wait!
It mentions software-based programming (graphical, no less), which is not good.
Having your keymap rely on the system the keyboard is connected to is terrible, especially if the software only works on one OS.
Please, is this board QMK-enabled, programmable at the firmware level, or otherwise able to be programmed independently of software?
It comes with a switch puller but doesn't mention a hot-swappable pcb. I'd understand if the switches in the images had those slip sockets or whatever they're called, but the switches mentioned in the description are Gateron, and Gateron doesn't do that. I would be happy to know the DDDeets.

TommyVeeeThe reason why GK66 DDD has two space keys, I think the first is ergonomic design, enhance the experience of use. The second is because it has three LAYERs that can be set to different key functions, and can be switched at any time. The function of the space bar can also be changed to other functions through software.
azrrikIt can be programmed by 6+ software. The function of each key of the keyboard can be changed according to your own usage habits. You can set the light color, shortcut function key combination, macro function and so on. The keyboard has 3 LAYER layers built in, which can set the layout of different button functions and switch at any time, so that you can deal with different working environments.
azrrikSo in other words it's the same software that's used by the GK61/GK64, and is described charitably as 'quirky'.
Many people I've seen describe it as terrible, or almost unusable for anything beyond basic functions.
blakstealthI like the split spacebar a lot. I've been using a Preonic for the last month and suddenly massive >6u spacebars seem like a waste of space.
