Glashütte Original PanoMaticLunar XL Watch

The Glashütte Original PanoMatic Lunar XL watch is a scintillating display of functionalist German design and mechanical integrity. The deconstructed dial is laid out with time indications on one side, and moon and date indications on the other. The subdials almost blend into one another for a seamless look—but it has little affect on legibility. At 2 o’clock, the moonphase indicator (which is shaped like a moon) tracks our rocky, orbiting companion’s movement across the sky. Glashütte Original’s 90-02 47-jewel movement serves as the watch’s engine. It can be seen via the display caseback, also made from sapphire. As a luxurious finishing touch, the case is made from 18-karat white gold.
