I'm really thinking hard about this one. It is a discontinued model, but in my opinion it is more desirable than the current version, which has a 42mm case. This one is both smaller (40mm vs. 42mm) and thinner (12.4 mm vs. 13.6mm) than the current model, yet it has the same movement as the current model. Obviously the warranty matters; that said, you could buy this watch and have it repaired at the factory in Germany for less the cost of the current model, should you get a lemon.

GalaxyGuyAgree. Although repairing a perpetual calendar can run cost a pretty penny. I'm guessing the bill can easily be $1-2k.

GalaxyGuyGo for it, the warranty card comes sealed/stamped by Glashütter Uhrenbetrieb. And mine has been flawless.
