Excellent knives, with the caveat that the handles can be slippery in the course of preparing a meal, though the same can be said of many others to a somewhat lesser degree. Good cutters, with comfortable contours.

OlivierPonsa good set of whetstones is a good base to have, but you could just give them to a local knife shop. sometimes a local butcher shop will sharpen for you too! I already have the global g2 8 inch chefs, and love it. It just feels a little thin/ light for me at times (and sometimes the thinness is just want i need).. just ordered a 10 inch, 7inch santoku, and the flexible utility. Cant wait to cook xmas dinner with the help of these knives!

My lady needs a good kitchen knife and after a long search, this seemed to be an unbeatable price for this quality of kitchen instrument. I'm excited to see some of you already own and love other knives from the SAI collection. Fingers crossed it's as kick ass as it looks!
