Product Description
Constructed with a foam core interior, the Glorious Wrist Pad ensures you’re comfortable during long sessions at the computer. To prevent skin irritation, it’s wrapped in a smooth cloth fabric, while the edges are reinforced with stitching for durability Read More
The Wrist pad is NOT(entirely) washable . I washed it recently like how you would wash your clothes by hand but more gently.
The rubber bottom lost its adhesive properties and came off. I'm gonna let it dry and attempt super gluing it back.
On another note before I washed it, it served me well. It was rather comfortable (although that's subjective) and wouldn't easily move around when I was playing games.
Quick tip for future buyers from my experience of owning one of these:
The mouse wrist pad/supporter is to steep, hard or small to actually prevent the strain issues it is meant for. Instead of your desk pressing into your arm, the wrist pad will and the strain returns. The keyboard version, however does do its job fairly well.
Alternative to this drop:
If you're getting strain issues on the wrist of your "mouse arm", I'd first recommend getting a desk chair that can support your arms. Second, make sure your arm can lie flat on your desk. Both tips prevent one single pressure point from existing, thus preventing most common strain issues and making this drop partially unnecessary.
Warning to buyers, I bought one of these from Amazon and it came with a chunk of something under the material. "Glorious" wants me to pay for return shipping for their crappy product that came defective out of my pocket. See the image of what I mean. Pretty disappointed at the level of customer service from these guys. Wont be buying anything from them again.
Very quick 5 day shipping to Ireland, I'm impressed. I originally bought a set 1 year ago, but I was careless when I tried to wash them. I tried (cheaper) alternatives from Amazon/eBay but they don't stack up to the quality of these. Very happy to have them on my desk again!
Warning: The grey full size wrist pad on the 'Glorious' website is a 1/2 inch shorter than the black one. I got one and it doesn't reach to the end of my Corsair Strafe keyboard. Pretty annoying since I do use the numpad. Also, they told me they are phasing out the grey colors entirely.
I have a full size keyboard. Corsair Strafe RGB. I don't know if I should get the full thickness or slim. Is the mouse wrist rest available in grey? Is the mouse wrist rest available in two thicknesses?
Can someone post some real photos of the different sizes and colors?
If you're primarily here for just the wrist rest and you live in the eu, and you think this is the best price you'll get.
Then check https://www.overclockers.co.uk, overclockers is located in the UK so technically not eu but still (-_-), they cost you 9 pounds ex shipping.
I hope this will help some Europeans. (sorry murica)
I personally wouldn't recommend this. I purchased the keyboard and the mouse wrist rest and the quality was sub par. There were loose threads sticking out on both the pads and the rubber bottom was coming apart on one of the corners. The mouse rest felt too high, but that's just me. Quality wise, these are not worth the asking price.
SupersonicThe mouse wristpad was too high? It's literally only 13mm thick. That's only half an inch. Most reviews I've read disagree with your quality assessment. And even if it's true what other options are there?
RiekopoFeel free to disagree. You can't expect 100% positive reviews. The quality is definitely poor on both the rests I received. The wrist rest is just too high. My palm is only be able to make contact with the top of my mouse which means I don't get a good grip. Maybe my hands are different than other reviewers. Even if there weren't any other options what does that have to do with my assessment? If a product has shoddy quality and is overpriced, then people should know about it. If you like the product, go buy it and see for yourself. Maybe you'll get lucky and get a good one.
