About the size of a deck of cards, the GLOW DAC 1.3 delivers a whole lot of value for its small footprint and accessible price. It uses the latest version of the tried-and-true 16-bit Burr-Brown 2704 chip and high-quality components throughout the circuit design—including KOA precision resistors, ELNA electrolytic capacitors, and a Simons MKT non-polar capacitor. The result is a smooth, detailed, three-dimensional sound. Plus, because this DAC is powered with a single USB cable from your computer, you won’t need to worry about finding an AC outlet or charging any batteries.

The GLOW DAC 1.3 has four outputs—an RCA analog out, a ⅛-inch headphone out, an optical out, and a coaxial out—for connecting to a variety of music sources. It also boasts a built-in headphone amplifier, ideal for pairing with a higher-end headphone or speaker amplifier.
