Received the watch yesterday and it looks amazing, classic, compact size of 39mm feels great on the wrist, in 24 hours it was gaining 4 seconds, first impressions super positive. My third Glycine Airman, and on the same day received a book as well.

Fantastic watch, misleading pictures and non-existing customer service.

I would have given this piece 5/5 stars if it wasn't for the fact that I ordered the GL0231 version explicitly for the red detail in "world timer" pictured on this site, but the watch I received, although saying GL0231 on the caseback and in the papers, has "world timer" in gold. It also runs about +18 seconds, which is really bad considering this is supposed to be a swiss quality movement. I tried talking with customer service about it, they said it was covered by the warranty and kept referring me elsewhere until they told me to email repair@iwscwatchrepair.com. They never replied. All further attempts at reaching customer service has failed as they are no longer answering me. I will never buy anything from drop again, and I highly advice everyone to stay away.

Good-looking watch, poor QC

I love the design and look of this watch. Unfortunately, my watch arrived with the hands misaligned. When the hour hand is pointing due north, the minute hand is about 20m ahead. This means that about a third of the time, the hour hand is pointing to the wrong hour. I hope that this issue will be covered by the warranty, but I will have to pay for shipping to and from the repair facility. The watch never should have left the factory in this condition. I admit that I had read reports of such QC issues before I purchased this watch but I decided to risk it anyway because I like the look and design so much. Indeed, I got burned by the same issues. I cannot in good faith recommend a product with such shoddy quality control.

Looks and feels great. Plagued with issues.

I’ve wanted one fo these watches for years! I was truly disappointed that movement wouldn’t keep accurate time. It would stop at 1400 and stay there for hours. The GMT hand never lined up with the markers. Sent it in for repair under warranty only to have the issues happen all over again the first time I wore it. Nervous to buy another Glycine with the same movement or GMT again.

I got this watch the last time it was on Massdrop. I love the watch. The details in the design. However, when I ordered the GL031 version, I received a much different version than what Massdrop displayed as the GL031. The Glycine box I received is the GL031, but it wasn't the version Massdrop listed. The watch dial I wanted was the all white, with the "world timer" in red, but i received the white and gold, with the "world timer" in gold. Not to mention the straps were interchanged. Be careful, the version you order may not be the one you get. I love the watch, but spending $600 on the wrong version was very disappointing. Didn't bother to contact Massdrop, seeing as how most reviewers note the lack of any customer service for this site. I would give my experience a 1 star for Massdrop's mishandling of orders, but the watch, though not the version I wanted, is still, a beautiful watch.
