I've just received my GL0143. Watch is very nice, but I have a misalignement of the Hour Hand. At 22:00 it is between 21:00 and 22:00, closer to 22:00. At 22:28 the hour hand is correctly pointing to 22:00. Anyone else having this same problem?
fgoniI just received my GL0143 from the April 1 drop today; it's having the same issue, but is "only" 15 minutes behind. It's annoying af. Did you manage to get it resolved through massdrop, glycine or the supplier?
ted42After several email exchanges I sent the watch like 6 weeks ago to the supplier after paying them $60 for management and return and I am still waiting them to send it back. Apparently they are changing the movement as they told me a week ago.
Mac11I sent the watch back to Glycine, after an email exchange of course, a few weeks ago. On May 8th they told me they'd be replacing the movement under warranty ; the status has been "In progress" since that time...I'll post again when I finally get it back...
Mac11Additional problem is that I'm from europe, we will have ocean and customs against us. Honestly.. I am not willing to pay ANY money to get it fixed, it is basically DOA (dead on arrival) for me.
Let's think for a while about quality control at Glycine, swiss made watch and so many people with the same problem? It is a joke..
slawIt's really unfortunate. One must assume, it has to be due to the fact that Invicta now owns Glycine and has adoptedsome of it bad habits.
There needs to be better policies in regards to returns a d situations like this. Massdrop should punish the supplier in the way of not selling there product in the future.
Massdrop will quickly soil there name, if issues like this keep occurring.
As for you Slaw, don't you have the option to return the watch? 30 day return policy?
Mac11Maybe I have, but I am pretty new in terms of importing stuff. I paid 180 USD of additional import duties, and who will return this money to me?
Some of them belongs to Polish government, some to UPS and I have no idea how to get them back.
ted42Finally got my watch back from Glycine (International Watch Service Center) this week. The problem is fixed "only" 6 weeks after I received it from the Massdrop. Clearly there is an issue with Glycine's QC, but their Authorized Dealer that is working with Massdrop should know better than to send out these defective watches; apparently it is easier for him to pawn them off on us and have us work with Glycine to get them fixed than for him to do it.
ted42Hi ted42,
I need to send mine to a repair centre. Did you report the reference number and the case number on the warranty card yourself before sending everything to Glycine?
Thanks for your help.
ted42Thank you for your reply! I’ll follow your footsteps. The european service center has not been very chatty and I had still no idea how to proceed before your reply. I need to report the number of my watchcase on the warranty card first then!
DongyI had an email communication with them. They requested I send them digital copies of my warranty card and receipt and authorized my return. I simply took pictures of the paperwork with my phone and send them those.
Thanks again for our help!
