Darn.. pretty tight. I like the added crosshairs to the dial. The blue gradient dial is pretty neat. But, if I'm being honest, the brown actually works better. But, too bad they only make this in 44mm. I could stretch such a fit on my 6.875" wrist. I've worn at least as large, if not larger, and the slim profile and well down angled lugs do help to fit around a lot of wrist sizes better than the seemingly long lugs might suggest. Iguana sells these for about $1700.. I think that's MSRP.. i wouldn't pay that much for this watch. It's an artificial price hike to make it seem like you are getting a great deal when you find it for $100's, if not $1000's less. Invicta is one that commonly comes to mind on such marketing tactics.. maybe no surprise we're getting similar vibes with Glycine since Invicta bought them. But, manufacturing-wise, it has no effect on the quality of Glycine watches. They are still made in the same Glycine factory in Switzerland, as far as I know. And, from my experience. All the ones I've ever bought post-Invicta have been great and some of the most accurately running automatic watches out of the box I've owned. I'd say new around $600 and under for any Glycine is fair and about right. Thank god for MD for the best prices on all Glycines. I can't find a better source and they seem to dig up seemingly long discontinued models in very good supply out of thin air. But, apparently, they did make an Airman 18 in bronze at some point. See it here and had sold on Chrono24 (https://www.chrono24.com/glycine/airman-18-airplane-bronze--id2953212.htm#gref) Who knows? Maybe MD can find a good dig and pull some of these Airman 18 in bronze out from thin air as they seemingly are able to do with models I thought were long discontinued and not that readily available anymore. I would certainly be curious to entertain an Airman 18 in bronze. For me, the Airman 18 is the perfect build and size for the Airman series. ***Actually, the Airman 18 in bronze is not genuine bronze. It's actually plated in bronze-like color. So.. never mind... I'd be happy with just the Airman 18 in stainless steel... OR, if they will produce the Airman bronze in a smaller size.. at least down to 42mm would be something I could work with.
