WHY oh WHY is it Hesalite and 10m water resist. The DC-4 has 200m an sapphire, and is also in the "vintage collection". Makes no sense for them to make all the No.1's and Chief's hesalite and have zero water resistance.... Damnit, just re-release the Airman 18 as a 40mm.

36mm sold out, dangit. Pretty much the only GMT available <40mm in this price range. But if I'm gonna pay $700 elsewhere I may as well save up and buy a Christopher Ward.

I picked up one of these recently and I really love it. Obviously the MSRP is laughable, but this is a good watch from a brand with a lot of history. It's also a pretty good deal -- this one seems to go from anywhere from $800-1200.

Pretty sure the guy who wrote: "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." --was most likely referring to MDs watch department.

fishstickxxxThe DC-4 is 42mm and styled the exact same. Glycine also has newer models. You can also go for the 42mm Double Twelve, which doesn't have a 24 hr dial (I've seen the DOuble Twelve around $350US on eBay).

Regularly $3500, but if you call now yours for only $579. But wait, call in the next hour and we’ll throw in his and hers Invictas.

Am I the only person in the universe that hates to see midnight at the top of my watch??! We have the technology to keep 12 noon in its assigned position at the appropriately named 12 oclock position... Daylight hours up top, nighttime on the bottom? I swear I saw an Airman like this once and was compelled to buy it.... Any watch that succeeds in being a true 24 AND ALSO getting this little pet peeve of mine correct is almost an instant buy. Anyone out there know what kind of model number I should look for to find the right airman for me?

I object to the use of "drenched" in the description.
