I don't know where is the correct spot for my message - here, in "Discussions" or, probably in "Reviews"... Anyway, I got my Airman Base 22 (GMT version "Luminous") a couple of months ago. I took some pause before expressing any opinion just to accumulate enough data and impressions. I got my watch from eBay dealer "Watchgooroo" because this specific version disappeared from drops of Drop.com for a while. The price was about $580. Could be better, but generally - OK. My bottom line conclusion is exceptionally good. This version belongs to post Invicta acquisition era, so it equipped with Sellita SW330-1. The accuracy of the watch is +4 sec a day measured during two months . Actually, it falls inside COSC certification specs for chronometers, even better. Take into account that Airman Base 22 isn't defined as chronometer. PVD looks perfect, the band is a simple but nice NATO band. The color of the dial not shown correctly at the picture - it's actually wonderful mixed white-yellow-light green and it looks gorgeous in the dark and during the day too. The front crystal is sapphire with AR, but the special story is the back presentation crystal - it's so beautiful with some very-very little degree of opaque - I'm not able to describe how it's nice! Frankly, I don't understand the Internet discussion "ETA vs Sellita", IMHO this discussion doesn't make sense. It's clear that today there is no significant difference in quality, implementation level, robustness, etc. of these to manufactures. My respect for Glycine as a watch manufacture - very good job done!
