Somehow this is the most boring moon phase I've ever seen. At least the Orient versions pop.

Dmanjapani thought the sun and moon on the orient’s watch was just an AM/PM indicator.

ArvjDunno. But a moon phase is a different animal entirely. But this one does not excite. The Orient at least looked the part.

DmanjapanThis is a true moon phase though the Orient is an AM/PM indicator. I used to own this watch, it's minimalistic and the moon phase works well but it's subtle and doesn't pop.

hgonz14Thanks for the update. I didn't know the orient wasn't a true moon phase. I'll take another look now at the Glycine at my AD nearby. Sometimes in person it's better. Here's a Citizen powered one I own.

DmanjapanAnytime. I just wish the dial on the Glycene was a Lighter blue or a sunburst blue, as it is too dark and it's almost black.
