It is an overpriced, inpractical toy. This watch uses an ETA-clone movement with a conventional rotor which, unlike some much cheaper yet ingenious Japanese rotors, is not very responsive to your wrist movement. As a result: if you have a stagnant desk job this watch can die on you any time because the rotor is unable to wind the main spring enough to keep it going. And any such watch which cannot be relied to accurately tell time is an absolute dealbreaker for me. It is just a useless toy. Moreover: if you try to handwind this ETA-clone mechanism to ensure the watch will keep going the next day you're admonished via differnet forums against it because the watch is not designed to be hand-wound too often and it can result in damage. So you are betweeen the rock and the hard place. Lesson learned: do not buy ETA-based wristwatch, only Japanese-based: it is a waste of money for practically-minded people.

WheelwrightPLI own a Glycine double twelve bought on massdrop 2 month before. The watch has going wrong 36 seconds within 3 days of resting in the watch box without moving. It CAN possiblity result in damage as all the Eta 2824 movements.

WheelwrightPLI purchased the 36mm blue face GL0106 the last time it appeared on Massdrop, about four months ago? Absolutely love the watch. I've tracked it's accuracy constantly since then. Over that time, on average, it has been accurate to within 4 to 5 seconds a day. I never wind it manually, the watch has no trouble winding itself, and I have a very stagnant desk job as you say. I don't typically wear it on weekends and it seems to wind down in a time consistent with the advertised reserve (38 hour). This is my first automatic and I will judge all others based on my experience with this excellent and beautiful watch.
