Product Description
Our exclusive take on Glycine’s flagship watch features a bronze case that will develop a natural patina over time. The more you wear it, the more refined it gets.
Great watch, with Selita SW200 swiss movement. Works just as well and as smoothly as the other ETA based watches I have in my collection. Its slightly uncomfortable for those with smaller wrists, but the angled lugs allow it to still look good and fit under a cuff, with what I believe to be one of the thinnest sub-1k diver-rated cases. Extremely comfortable, though stock strap should be replaced. Has bronze staining often, but the aesthetic of such a watch cannot be beaten. I recommend finding similar Glycines from this model batch which should have similar quality, and aim for 30-40 percent off the msrp listed. This particular watch colorway is "limited", but similar ones can be easily found for much less, and if not, go for a Tudor BB Bronze if you want the original inspiration for this design.
I absolutely love this bronze Glycine Combat Sub. It wears incredibly comfy and is tough and durable with a rock solid movement. And watching the bronze patina has been a real treat, such a cool watch easily one of my favorites!
Solid construction, vacuum-packed to avoid oxidation
thin for its diameter, precise mechanism.
The dial is less decorated than the classic Glycine model but the price is not the same either
Good night visibility, only the bracelet marks quickly.
The design of this one does not work for me. While the dial and colouring say vintage the size and flat crystal insist on modernity.
The buckle also seems to be a different kind of bronze (more reddish) than the case.
All the technical aspects are great though.
1) convenient and accurate within certain limits.
2) not an average watch
3) it changes with me
I'm glad I chose that. I can only recommend it to everyone.
This watch was everything I wanted and more. I bought it admittedly with the intention of wearing it for a few months because I wanted to try out a bronze watch. I thought I would probably flip it but its definitely a keeper. While I absolutely adore this watch it is not entirely flawless, hence the 4 stars. The quality is all there, it feels well made and for the specs the price was an absolute bargain. However, my bezel insert is the tiniest bit misaligned (I take no issue with this at the cost) and I wish it came with an additional strap which is waterproof be it rubber or nylon. It is going to be difficult to find aftermarket straps with brass fittings so it would would've been nice if they included a strap that let you swim with it, considering that is the ultimate purpose of a dive watch.
my first ever bronze watch, and it did not disappoint.
Although the item took some time to get shipped out, the item reached me safe and sound, with no damages.
Nice packaging, feels lighter than i expected but the finishing on this thing is just great.
