I have a Swiss Military by Chrono SM34051.01 running on a Rondo movement, it's a little larger at 46mm, but it is a diver style, and no problems at all, and a very nice watch ,great lume, rotating bezel etc.. Maybe because ETA movements aren't always available to companies outside of their group Swiss manufacturers have to look elsewhere for similar quality , another Swiss Military I have runs on an ETA chrono quartz movement and was over $200 cheaper! I have a Glycine Combat Sub Bronze and in no way does it remind me of "Invicta". So if you like this one I would just buy it. I was under the impression that Rondo was a quality movement! Just like a lot of reviews have the same opinion that Sellita is also comparable to the ETA automatics! I guess it's just down to personal opinion. I know there are a few in the community who work on movements, and by nature one always likes to deal with the familiar which in this case is ETA.

I don't have problem with the movement or the quality. I just think the dial looks too busy and the I'm also not a fan of the color schemes. For this price you get a good watch.

CartmenYou have a point, I would like to see the day option dropped, and maybe do something about the arabic numerals. Then it would probably appeal to more people. Just as well they didn't as I might have bought it and incurred the wrath of she who must be obeyed!

PBF123If anything the Snyper Two watch looks more Invicta,I think this one is very similar to the Combat Sub standard with just chrono functions. But I will look at this Noma watch.

PBF123Yeah, just looked at the Noma, and I think the blue and brown colourways can kinda seem similar, but not the all black; again Drop doesn't seem to have had access to the better colours. Size proportions are definitely Glycine.

Hi guys. I'm from russia. And I bought the same watch in black on ebay. And this is the same glycine as a mechanical battalion, just with two pushers and a maximum caliber from ronda. So your nonsense about invict is still premature. The watch costs its $ 200 at 100%. There are simply no problems with the mechanics. Quartz has no problems. If it is an invicta, then all glycine is a cheap invicta. I had a lot of watches from swatch groups to $ 1000. Naturally purchased much cheaper than the recommended price, but the mechanics usually required repassage. So these glycines are never worse in quality than watches from swatch groups. This is the same glycine as the rest, including on mechanical calibers. PVD coating is excellent. Lum is slightly larger than conventional watches and slightly smaller than divers. There is an anti-glare. Sapphire crystal is thick. Everything is very high quality. This is definitely not an invicta).

Guys. I bought more than one mechanical watch on sites like Ashford or Zhomashop or on Ibei. With a huge discount. But. As it turned out all this stale goods. Who has dried the grease and it is time for them to do a repage. Given that I'm not a fanatic Swiss Made - it's a setup. Cheating. And the clock itself goes to -. There was even bronze dust under the rear window. I understand that you are rich in America and buy them for a collection of clothes once a month. But this mechanics is not suitable for constant wearing. It's broken. The grease has dried. And only such watches sell with big discounts on sites or ebay. So when quartz is in the same battalion machine - it is a huge fortune. This defective mechanics is no good. This mechanic is sold because it is necessary to do repage. No one will sell you working mechanics at such a price. But quartz is another matter. But if he goes to - then he is also not working properly. And ETA did just that.

evgeniy_kI am sorry but I am not totally sure about what you are saying. But I think you prefer quartz movement other than mechanical automatic. And you are right about the efficiency ; the quartz is more accurate than automatic and needs less service work. Also I guess to buy automatic could be considered a privilege for people in a better economic position. I myself cannot argue with these points, but there is something "cool" about automatic watches over quartz movement; and they seem to have a more interesting "character": if it was based purely on cost and effect then most would buy the cheaper option - quartz movement; after all in the eighties there was this sort of mini revolution when quartz watches took over the watch market and almost marked the demise of the volume sale automatic sector. Anyway I think we both agree that this Glycine does not resemble an Invicta watch. And be aware not all of us Drop customers are in the USA.

I own this watch and it's fantastic. Identifiably a Glycine. Solid case, solid bracelet. No where near what Invicta pushes out on the lower end. The detail, crown, pushers and bezel are absolutely fantastic. It'd also low profile so has alot of vintage vibes. Plus panda? Yes please. For the Ashford price of $225 it's excellent. The best comparison for this watch is maybe a Victorinox Maverick. That's a big and substantial watch. It's also not blingy. The watch face is muted, but the hands including the registers are polished, which gives it a vintage vibe and is inline with their other "true" Glycine models like the combat 6. Near flat endlinks makes this one a strap monster and could fit a variety of straight endlink third party bracelets from strapcode or elsewhere.

Actually NOT an invicta. Watch Random Rob review on YouTube. I have several Glycine and will add this one. I like both quartz and Automatic movements.

Neil_MI've seen this review. I like his channel. This watch still reminds me an Invicta. I think many people here (including myself) wouldn't mind the quartz movement at all if the watch didn't look like a cheaper, generic watch with an unnecessarily cluttered dial.
