Does anyone know what this movement is based on? I am not familiar with a Swiss 31 jewel auto. (Other than Rolex) Thanks.

GugliermoIt does seem a little strange. Based on the caseback picture, it looks like an ETA 2825, which is essentially a 2824 with small seconds. Not sure where the 31 jewels come from, unless Sellita or another ebauche manufacture makes them in 31 jewels.
Edit: just did a little research, and my hunch was probably right. It's most likely a Sellita SW260, a small seconds variant of the Sellita SW200, which in turn is a copy of the ETA 2824-2. The Sellita caliber is listed at 31 jewels.

the.watchdoc Thanks much Doc, that makes sense. BIG watch with a small movement, makes for date window and sub dial well inside the perimeter....not sure I feel about that yet even though I'm a big Glycine fan. Thinking I'll stick with my 46mm Incursore for now. Thanks for the info Doc!

the.watchdocIf they are using a variant of the SW200, is it the SW200-1 ? The dash 1 is a slight redesign of three gears that makes the teeth slightly more robust and thus resistant to shock.
