Product Description
Stabilizers help distribute the weight of each keypress across the entire key, so you don’t have to hit them in the very center and they will still register. They’re essential for larger keys like the spacebar, enter key, backspace, shift, and more Read More

It depends in what way? I can't buy anything without knowing what to buy, so I need specifics, not vague generalities.

Focus on the two on the right side. Does your keyboard have stabilizers that sit in the plate, or do they pop in / screw into the PCB.

I joined drop for NYM96. I heard the stock stabs are not that great? Which option should I get for these - plate mount, PCB mount or screw-in mount? If its up to me, any advantage of using one over another? I assume i need 4 x 2U and 1 x 6.25U?!

In the photos of the NYM96 drop, you can see that the space bar is 6.25U, based on 1U being the width of a typical alpha key. Since the space bar spans from about the midpoint of the 'X' key to nearly the end of the ',' key, it is likely 6.25U.

NovelKeys has these for almost $2 cheaper and ships now, not 1.5 months. Like what even is this drop

Just noticed the same thing...and here I had gotten all excited. To confirm, NK carries "Cherry Stabilizers from GMK (authentic)." Seems like the drop is pennies cheaper, but I'm not sure if NK charges for shipping.

Thanks for the heads up. Came here to post if someone wanted my 2 extra 2Us and a 7u, but I think I'll just order the two 2Us I need from NK :D

So many other websites have GMK stabilizers that are going to ship way before April, at a price that is either cheaper or very competitive with this.

Good to replace Anne pro stabilizers that are broken?

So my Anne pro has 2 problems 1. A stem on the stabilizer that snaps on to the silver broke off 2.The space bar is really wobbly, I was hoping to find a stabilizer that can replace the current one and then also using dielectric grease to fix the space bar and thoughts?

I don't have an Anne Pro, but it looks like you only have to desolder the switch that is stabilized to replace the knockoff stabilizers that it comes with. If you replace the stock ones with real GMK plate mount stabilizers that have been properly clipped and lubed, they should be buttery smooth. Permatex dielectric grease is the most commonly used lube for stabs. On top of that, you can replace the spacebar switch with a heavier one to help with wobble. Like a Gateron Black instead of a Red.

What is the purpose with these actually?? Say I want to use GMK Carbon or GMK Eclipse or GMK Black On White NorDe on a Filco Tenkeyless Convertible or WASD Tenkeyless keyboard, do I need this then or does the Filco/WASD keyboard already include it?

Filcos and WASDs use Costar-style stabilizers. These wouldn't work.

Both Filco and WASD use Cherry compatible stabilizer (called Costar stabilizer) so you still can use your GMK keycaps without problem. No need to buy GMK Stabilizer because it won't be compatible with Filco/WASD.

Same, I guess they have enough in stock to ship at least some orders early. December is probably a safer estimate, in case they need to order more.

The advertised savings ($8) do not make the 2-month wait for shipping worthwhile. If my keys are wanting for a stabilizer, I want the right stabilizer right now, not two months from now, more than I want $8.

If you need something now, don't order from MD. If I've got a kit coming in three months, waiting two for the stabs and saving some money is a great deal. Your inability to plan ahead doesn't make the drop less worthwhile.
