Erghhh...... AGAIN with the crappy 3D render that makes the alpha base colors look darker than they really are.
Remember the notoriously misleading Triumph Adler mockups? And the Danger Zone SA mockups that look like a much warmer and much more pleasant version of the real thing?
Please stop doing that!
Here's the actual color of 3K:

Unless you have another pure white keycap right beside it, it's going to look white, not grey, not even close.
Please, if you think darker alphas look better, MAKE IT ACTUALLY DARKER, not play with Photoshop and trick us with funny lighting that mislead us as to what it will look like.

The 3K does look a wee bit darker in the renders, but I don't think it's that far off. In some lighting, the renders even may be spot on.
Also peeps, the whole point of this set is to recreate and old keyset, hence the printed legends. I feel like those are what make the set, and otherwise it'd be just another plain white-and-green design.

We need to talk reasonable expectation here. You can't create mockups with free rein to tweak the color as long as it looks like that in "some" lighting; it need to reasonably look like the mockup in MOST lighting.

Well, you're not going to have a color-accurate render that's perfect for all accountability. I just don't think it's realistic, and I think the renders in the shots are as close to the actual color as possible. I have yet to see renders that are pretty much spot-on for what you'll get in the end, but the renders here do a pretty good job. Most lighting is variable; not all have equal distribution of light.
