A brief reflection and look at how far our community has come since joining. I’ve been in the mechanical keyboard hobby for a very long time. It started as a high school student’s search for a keyboard for writing novels back in the 2008-2009 school year. I thought I wanted to be an author and I felt I needed a keyboard that I could sit down to at my desk and just write. After researching, joining forums, and saving money, I made my first purchase in the hobby, a blank black Happy Hacking Keyboard Professional 2. I still own this keyboard and while it is heavily modded now, it remains one of my all-time favorites. My HHKB Pro2 with MitchCapped Accents Many people would have stopped there, but keyboards became a hobby. I enjoyed learning about them, and early on, I enjoyed hunting for them in thrift shops. I would dig through bins at Goodwill and Salvation Army while popping keycaps off with paperclips looking for mechanical switches. I searched for a birthday Model M...

If some tosser thinks ONE key is forcing him away from this then just walk away, you couldn't appreciate the greatness of this set if you are crying over a Windows 8 monstrosity logo (which most younger kiddies are wanting these days).
Microsoft Logo's isn't what attracts me personally to any key-set, it's the quality and finish of the keys which GMK delivers in spades.
It could be "Cmd", or they can just send 2x 1.25 additional blanks
It seems windows users are doing everything they can to avoid pressing the windows button, so I don't think they will mind, but if you're using unix based operating systems, the windows logo is just disturbing
I just checked a previous GH GMK group buy, it included blank 1.25's
You're right that you can't satisfy everyone intelli78, but simple additions like these can help satisfy more people
For future group buys/drops, a satisfaction pack might sense, with all the absurd 40% 60% ergodox fc660m infinity keycaps in one package, costing another $114, I'm sure many will buy
Most of my keycap spending is aimed at finding replacements for the keycaps that stand out
Seriously though, I wouldn't let the windows key dissuade you from picking this set up. It is beautiful in its simplicity, and something like it isn't likely to come around again. And GMK at this price is amazing.
this is the creme dela creme of keycaps. even among gmk's, it's on a league of its own. elrick may have been abit harsh with his comment but refusing to get this keyset because of a couple of keys and suggesting satisfaction packs is like arguing about the number of cupholders on a freaking veyron.
