I have one of these that I picked up at Costco a while back, with the pictured solar panel. The panel is OK, and it works, but it takes quite a while to charge things. The speaker I use _daily_ and love. The sound has a great range of highs and lows, surprisingly, since the size of the thing is pretty tiny. The description doesn't mention that you can also chain them with a 3.5mm male to male extension, as they have an output as well. I have consistently been impressed with mine and would recommend this to anyone who camps or wants something to amplify their phone when they are in the shower, or just around the house.
This speaker gets loud enough to hurt my ears if I turn it all the way up.

DilutedWow! Thanks for the thorough write up about the product! How long have you had the speakers and which model of the solar panel do you have?
Thanks!

andyHi andy, I've had the speaker for about 4 years. The solar panel I have is the one that's pictured there, the Nomad 7.
I forgot to mention that on a full charge, this speaker has no problem lasting an entire day of use. I use it daily, when I am showering and getting ready for work, and I charge it once every month or so.
The only downside is that I wish it had a charge indicator of some kind. When it runs out of battery it just dies, and there's no way of telling how close to that point it is at any given time. That's a pretty small complaint though.
