Since buying this, I have taken it on a few day trips, two were about 10 miles, one about 15miles. The pack surprised me with some thoughtful design choices and its very-minimal weight. Great pack, glad I bought it!

dylon4evaHey @dylon4eva - I am so glad to hear you like the backpack! We tried to give it the add-ons that so many packable day packs lack these days, such as waist straps and water bottle pouches. Hope you keep getting some awesome mileage out of it, and always feel free to reach out to us should you need.

I got this pack in the mail last week, and I like it! Things I like:
  • Quality is very good. Excellent finish, no loose threads. Of course we'll have to see how it performs over time, but so far so good. I stuffed this pack to the max with climbing gear / clothes / food, and even though it was bulging, there was no sign of stress on the seams / elsewhere.
  • It's got a ton of features. Little pockets, key hanger, hip pocket.
  • It's much lighter than advertised. On my scale it's 345g (12.17oz) instead of the advertised 396g (14oz)
  • Looks like it's DWR treated, it beads water well. NB didn't test this in a downpour.
  • The inner compartments work well! I was able to grab food / carabiners while the pack was still full. The material is very slippery, which makes grabbing things quick and easy.
Things I didn't like as much:
  • It doesn't look like / feel like a 30L pack, more like 20L. Though once you start stuffing, it is surprising how much space there is. The main compartment is decently sized, but quite a few of those liters go into the water bottle pockets and in the 'head' of the pack. I was hoping to use it for solo overnight hike trips year round, but I think I can only make that work with a smaller load (e.g. in summer)
  • The velcrow connecting the inner compartments sometimes comes undone when stuffing things inside. Every time I hear the sound I think I'm ripping the pack, but it's just the velcrow, hehe.
I'd highly recommend this pack! Just be aware of the size :)
