View Full Discussion I'm way out of my depth here but I've been web searching trying to figure it out. I've not gotten far. Anyone out there that wouldn't mind clarifying for me? I have a CTRL keyboard from massdrop with cherry mx switches. I like the keys on it a lot. They aren't too tall. I can't figure out what profile they are. I really love the Mitospeed ?SA? keyset with "22.214.171.124.3.3 spherical profile" (I have no idea what 126.96.36.199.3.3 means unfortunately). I like the purple so much. But from the web searching, it sounds like my CTRL keyboard might have more of a ?DSA? style keycap?? I know there is a GMK version of Godspeed with cherry profile (maybe that is similar to DSA?) but it doesn't come in the lovely dark purple color :( :( :(
To summarize, does anyone know if the Mitospeed ?SA? keyset with "188.8.131.52.3.3 spherical profile" is anything like the keycaps that come on the CTRL keyboard? OR will they be much taller? Will they keys be tilted from sideview?
If anyone else is new to keycap stats like me, this helps a little bit: https://www.wiki.1upkeyboards.com/doku.php?id=knowledge_base:keycap_profiles
The numbers you are confused about mean the contour. The SA profile normally is sold in the configurations you see below. Then there are GMK keycaps, which are Cherry profile, a similar profile from the vanilla keycaps that come with Massdrop CTRL. DSA is a completely different profile.
