Can someone clarify the mods pricing? So it's $80 alone just for the Apollo mods? What do I get? Only the blue colored mod key caps? This seems absurd? It's $37 for the base but $80 for the mods? How and why are mod caps essentially twice the price of the base? This quickly goes from $37 USD to well over $120 USD...

There is a person involved in designing these keycaps by hand (in this case me) and we are having it made per everyone's requests by a factory of specialists. This is not an off the shelf product that can be purchased every day, it is a high quality custom made one. This comes with many benefits but also a slightly higher price.

MiToThat's interesting to learn that mods sell a lot less than alphas. That would explain a price difference (the other things about manufacturing and design challenges seem like they would be the same between the alphas and the mods). But is there a well-known reason why mods would sell less? I hadn't even imagined someone buying alpha keys and not also buying mods with them, even for 60% boards. I am often a bit mystified when seeing how keycaps are sold. Anyone is welcome to chime in.
