EDIT:
In order to help you visualize the prices better, here's a sheet.

Don't forget to apply the $10 off coupon which you can get here (valid from Feb 6th to Feb 8th)!
HangIt’s for the basic keycaps your letters in true middle and around the letters u pay for another set your function keys it’s setup this way for it to be more customizable to the colors u want and novelties
JoshuaPSBut I'm getting charged an extra $37 on every option. I choose the alpha, extra $37, I add the modifiers, extra $37, I add the Novelties, extra $37. So if I buy this set I will be charged $37 three times.
HangI am pretty sure you are not getting charged an extra $37, it is just not possible for one person to still be affected for the error (it was already fixed).
$150 + $80 + $45 = $275 which is the exact number shown on the SUBTOTAL section of your screen shot.
If you were getting charged the extra $37 you claim, then your SUBTOTAL would be giving the following amount:
$150 (+$37) + $80 (+$37) + $45 (+$37) = $386
Does that make sense?
The prices of the individual kits can be seen in the sheet below if you are confused still -

If you still believe something is wrong, please let me know and I will try to explain again why it is not.
TreegrowthHello there @Treegrowth do you still need help? SA and GMK are totally different products, they even have different pages (and obviously different prices).
MiToSo a $37 fee is added on top of any option I choose? That means a $9 spacebar would cost $46 not including taxes and shipping. Wow, paying hundreds in fees for keycaps..
Hang> So a $37 fee is added on top of any option I choose? That means a $9 spacebar would cost $46 not including taxes and shipping.
Why are you saying this?
HangThe spacebars kit should show -$28 in the dropdown ($9 - $37). This is the way Massdrop is accounting for options in each of their drops not only for keycaps. As far as I am concerned I think it's confusing AF but I am pretty sure it's going to stay like that.
MiToFWIW, I tried to go through checkout yesterday and the numbers indeed did appear off. I was also seeing a base $37 applied to each item (The Lunar Alphas were showing up as "+ 37" in the drop down, so my total was $74 for only that one item). Apollo mods were "+ $80" plus a weird extra $37. I unfortunately did not screenshot. I went back and completed checkout today and everything looked as it should -- so it does appear there was some error and Drop was incorrectly handling the pricing, though it looks like it's been fixed?
shreeThere is not an extra +$37 anywhere, it was explained several times that $37 is the base price in which the system either adds or subtract values until all kits are sub totaled at their correct price, have you noticed the Mitonauts are -$27? Does that mean we will pay you $27 dollars to get the kit? Obviously not, this means the Mitonauts are $10 per my sheet at the top of this post thread.
MiToI think the way the checkout system has been designed is creating confusion, when one selects mods probably instead of +43$ if it showed the actual price 80$ that probably would have been better. I am no expert in website designing. Maybe this is better I don't know. Anyway thanks. So many interesting drops at the same time so little money.
MiToJust realised that my message containing "I am no expert in website designing. Maybe this is better I don't know." might give the impression as being sarcastic. It is not. Really appreciate the hard work put in by you in designing the sets.
MiToWhere can we get the case and necessary pcb and plate to make the board as shown in the picture? I love the cream-white case and the overall layout.
EvilocityI'd mentioned it before and there was a reply from Drop that clarified the drop was only set up for a numpad-less Genespeed, but I will say that if they Reworked the Shift last minute, there's hope they might consider this. Perhaps at the bare minimum explain why they chose no numbpad option.
Maybe if enough other folks on here indicate a desire in the comments they would be more likely to ask/consider? Also, if someone from Drop is watching - this would mean that folks like me who ordered a SHIFT and would be wanting to pimp it would be less willing to consider this drop, or perhaps that folks who wanted to order a SHIFT and were in love with that sweet monochromatic gene speed would be looking elsewhere for a deck.
I've been looking at other similar profile and font caps that would work for a num pad, just haven't found something yet.

griponrealityWe give designers near complete freedom to determine the kits and their compositions. There has been precedent of a kit being added post-launch, but it generally does not happen. There's a lot of effort involved to get any changes rendered, quoted, and added as an option. The unfortunate reality is that it's impossible to make everyone happy, whether it's on price, compatibility, colorway, or what-have-you. But the feedback is always helpful, as it can be taken into account for future reruns and/or sets. There are no plans to add a Supernova numpad kit right now.
MiToSorry for the dumb question, but if I order the Ergo kit for $90 will that only include the ergodox modifiers? Or will it also come with a set of alphanumeric keys
Appreciate the reply, figured that was likely outcome, but that it didn’t hurt to give folks a chance to call out and voice demand for future drops- maybe a suggestion given to the supplier partners for full layout compatibility in each color way, even if through multi add-on options? Keep up the good work and let us know what’s up with the SHIFT, looking forward to it.
griponrealityThousands of people reply to my forms, I spent weeks and sometimes months prior to launch figuring out kits. Things like “Ares this” or “Supernova Numpad” or “UK Mitospeed” and anything else people suggest isn’t listed because it’s not worth it to offer. Not enough demand. If I don’t offer a certain kit or color combination it’s because there’s no demand, pretty much.
MiToJust glad you are still here giving us the latest Colour ways.
Always liked buying your designs, truly unique and when you see what's available out there your work still comes out in front.
The DROP should be pleased you're still with them. Even though they have become a pale shadow of what they were before.
I miss MassDrop, a lot.
RaymondLuThe function row keycaps come color oriented with their respective modifier kits. The keycaps from F1 to F12 are modifiers, not alpha numericals, therefore they should match the color of the modifiers. If someone wants to have some color variation I have made available the F-Row Contrast kit.
ElrickAlways happy to see you around my old partner and friend, I too miss the previous overall design of Drop. Fortunately for us there is a major overhaul taking place in the backend which will make the overall experience of acquiring goods in the website much better than it ever was. I hope you enjoy it once everything is clicking!
