So let's see if I understand... This Chinese company manufactured headphones for other companies then decided to steal the intellectual property of those companies and are now making their own. And this, is their crowning achievement that they're calling their flagship which looks like it was made out of bits and pieces of scrap that were waste from their prior manufacturing endeavors. It's rather obvious from looking at them that they didn't hire Jonny Ive as a consultant to make a product that's aesthetically appealing and that doesn't look like it'll fall apart once the chewing gum used on the hinge dries out. Or did I miss something? At this price point you'd be better off buying an open box m1060 from monoprice.

ThesesuckM1060 itself is an LCD2 clone. Buying monoprice isn't any better than buying from a no namer chinese planar since they're all just copies.

ThesesuckYou’re describing the way virtually all new commercial technologies eventually find their way into your homes like it or not. What, you think $50,000 flat screens just magically come down in price so you and I can actually enjoy them? Welcome to the real world.

LambdastormTheir new sets M1070 and M1570 are not clones of any other sets, they designed their own new planar magnetic structure... there was an interview with the design lead at Monoprice and he had a lot of good answers and information. I'll support Monoprice because they actually make pretty decent products at competitive prices. I have no issues with companies trying to stir up the market which in turn gives us consumers savings.

GuyInPittsburghI never claimed to know it all. Now if the played out term Boomer is supposed to be a cut down I will consider the source. Miserable in Pittsburgh.

petecamachoNo, not a "cut down" (although that term is revealing of your out of touch age); rather, a dismissal. So thanks for participating, but you're excused now.

GuyInPittsburghThe fact that you are placing judgement based on my age (in which you dont know) just illustrates your naive shallowness. Age is knowledgeable Age is wisdom. Don't worry my little twatwaffle you'll grow into it.

petecamachoHonestly how can guyinpittsburgh say calling you a boomer is a dismissal. I’ve met a lot of boomers and with age comes wisdom. The internet has become a troll meeting place where guys like him (and there’s a couple on here) go to comment sections and belittle people they’ve never met. Where they use the popular term of the day like #boomers or some other term, thinking if they use it they will feel this overwhelming sense of achievement. Well if that’s the case congrats sir you have accomplished nothing.

JLNoirYou said it right there..with age comes wisdom. I'm sure I probably had my first set of headphones before he was born but that doesn't mean I know more. LOL using term of the day. Thank you for setting these b****** straight.
