I happen to own the T1 and T2 - I'm guessing the T3 is really similar to those.
They are really good cameras. They require USB connection - either use a 12V outlet for the power, or find a 12V to USB converter for under the dash (not terribly hard to do). You can search Amazon for Goluk's there are a ton of reviews there. I've had the T1 for almost 2 years. The T2 for about a year. (one mounted in front, the other in the rear). They work over WiFi to your phone. They've updated the app a ton, practically an update every two months.
Honestly, not sure why anybody buys BlackVue's. This is easily as good as those much more expensive cameras.
Just checked the Goluk website for comparison - the T3 downloads videos to your phone faster and it uses a capacitor when the power is off for motion sensing. Lens and sensors are the same.

ZeeDanThe capacitor is for safe shutdown, not parking mode power.

UppinderDouble sided tape. There is a ring and an angle mount you put on the windshield. You just have to get the angle mount level. The camera rotates in the mount for up and down view. The holder is pretty darn solid, it won't rotate on it's own with vibration.
These also work on battery power outside the mount.
