Overall I’m pleased with the pants. The reason for a 4-star review is that they’re a bit tight through the thighs and compress the down. I wear a size 31-32 pant waist and I weight 165lbs. I ordered a size medium. I think there should be more fabric in the thighs and top parts of the pants. The build quality seems good though, I’m looking forward to using them next winter!

I have worn these under my waders for over a year to fly fish. I can definitely stay out longer in the water when most have to turn back. They've also been great under roomy Goretex shells when it's cold and rainy. Simply wear them under something if you don't want to others to make Michelin Man jokes.

These just arrived. They're light, packable and extremely warm. I'm a large guy and possibly should have gone bigger than a large to maximise the loft but even so, these were considerably warmer than the fleece track pants I was wearing before I tried them on. These will be great for around camp and to compliment my quilt.

Great pants, keeps me very warm when camping and are very light. You do need to take care with these because they are relatively delicate, but I wouldn't dock a star for that because that's usually the story with down clothing. To make sure I don't rip or damage the pants I usually put them on under my hiking pants or rain pants.

An excellent addition to my sleep system when venturing into high elevations or shoulder season. Greatly extends the comfort range of my 30 degree quilt without adding a lot of weight.
