Available only on Massdrop, this Goosefeet Gear pillow cover is specifically designed to pair with the popular Klymit Pillow X—and works just as well with our custom version, the Pillow X Ultra Light. Can this be used to stuff my jacket in to make the pillow. Having a hard time figuring out how this would work. I don't want to add an additional pillow to this, but use what I have. Will that work ?
I bought one from GFG that’s sized for the ExpedUL, with overfill, and it’s “heads down” the best investment I could have ever made in the ultralight luxury world. I’m a side sleeper and the X pillow alone was not enough lift for my comfort. You can count on quality, top notch products from Goose Feet Gear!
Curious, anyone tried these with the Sea to Summit Aeros pillows? I know the shape is different, but I can't imagine the size is that much larger/smaller
stevevillasenorThat is a good bit larger than either of these pillows, so we would need to make you a custom size. Shoot me an email and we can continue the conversation! :)
They are a little smaller than a “regular” pillow but compress tiny! It gives you full range of toss-and-turn motion without “losing” your pillow in the process! I absolutely LOVE mine.
I love love love this pillow cover. Pro tip: if you don't like the feeling of nylon against your face, you can shove the whole pillow inside a buff (I use a merino buff, and combined with the down pillow topper I feel very backcountry fancy).
sparsSame problem here. Leaving to do Teton Crest Trail with my kids July 29. Would love to have a comfy, down pillow to rest my head on every night in the Tetons. :-)
I have used this pillow for 20+ campouts as a hammock camper. One of my favorite pieces of equipment summer or winter. One bit of advice, only blow up the Klymit pillow 1/4-1/3 of capacity, the Goosefeet cover does the rest. Highly recommended.
I've had this pillow for a few hikes now and I love it. I've used it with the Klymit pillow, with clothes stuffed in it, and also just by itself. Great buy, and great product.
This product easily made my Klymit pillow rival any other pillow I have
Keep in mind I am easy to please as I sleep on rocks and piled up clothes but it actually does make it considerably better
Oh man, mine arrived just in time for an overnight backpack this past weekend and I was delighted by it--I put my synthetic puffy in the stuffsack and then put the whole pillow inside a merino buff (because it feels nicer on my face and also because then I can just wash the buff someday), and the down did a really nice job of evening things out and making it feel like a real pillow instead of just a wadded up jacket.
