While still a ripoff, I was a sucker and got the Grace remote, and I have to admit, it's really nice. It weighs a ton (as does the DAC itself)!
The built-in headphone amp seems solid as well. I've read that it was designed with lower-impedance headphones in mind, and it definitely does not have the power of my WA7, but it still drives my HD 700's (150 ohms) just fine with the volume up pretty high. The crossfeed is cool, and I'm looking forward to playing with it, as well as the user-selectable digital filters. It doesn't beat the SPL Phonitor's crossfeed, but that would be a little too much to ask, as the Phonitor has no-built in DAC, yet still costs more (and happens to be one of the best solid state headphone amps that I've ever heard, along with the Headamp GS-X MK II).
TL;DR: You should be very happy with your purchase. I certainly am.
