Right on thanks for sharing. You got quite some gear stacked up. Nice!
I plan to use the m920 entirely Dac, headphone amp and pre-amp for my studio monitors. Right now using the Grado RS1 and getting the Foxtex TH900 delivered on Thursday (also from massdrop got them for $1099). Looking forward to see how the synergy compares between m920 and TH900-GradoRs1. Will keep you posted.
Good for you! I wouldn't mind getting some more headphones...but I won't be dropping anymore money on audio gear for a while lol. I'm loving my speaker setup minus the awful acoustics around my desk (I have no room to install bass traps). I might eventually add a subwoofer mainly for movies and gaming.
From listening a bit more, I definitely like my Woo better as an amp than the m920 (at least with my HD 700's), but the m920 is no slouch (and again, I'm not sure if it will need any burn-in time, so impressions this early may not be the most accurate). The main difference (other than the Woo being much more powerful) that I've noticed is that there is more weight to the low-end.
The DAC in the m920 continues to be top-notch.
