If I get one of these it will be to use at work with Fostex Purplehearts. My work machine is Windoze while at home I'm strictly Mac or Linux. Will I have to screw around with drivers to make this function with my work computer?

If you don't need high sample rate capability, you can use the m9xx in U1 mode which is plug and play on PC and Mac. If you do require high sample rate playback, U2 mode requires a driver for PC but is still plug and play on the Mac.

Thanks! Files will be .wav or from Spotify HQ or Tidal. So I think I should be fine.

Hi Crazychile, just to address your question about "screw around with drivers", Yes the driver is required for USB 2 (FS > 96kHz). But for the benefit of the community here, I suggest that it isn't an issue of screwing around. The driver is a high quality 3rd party product from the long-established leader in Windows USB audio drivers - Thesycon. It installs easily and works correctly. You might find it more convenient to just install the driver at work.
