Still not sure about my investment here. I'm currently have a pretty solid Uber Schiit Stack (Magni / Modi) and a pair of T90 respectively one pair of the TH-X00. Can't find any good comparison between the Schiit Stack and the m9xx. I didn't like the 2 Power Adapters that are always on on my Schiit Stack. The big Question is: Should i replace my Schiit Stack with the m9XX (which i like mostly because of its 1-cable-power mode without any aditional power adapter.) Anyone can give me an advise from a Sound Perspective ? From this comparison i may should stick with my shiit stack: http://www.superbestaudiofriends.org/index.php?threads/comparison-of-mid-fi-dac-amp-combination-units-grace-schiit-ifi-lh-jds-etc.401/

m9xx > schiit stack. Sound is fuller. Sound quality marginally better on the m9xx. m9xx has lower floor noise (almost none). But I'm talking magni+modi If you have a lyr + bifrost uber or something and that is your stack than well darn it's better by m9xx in terms of dac/sound and the amplification.

what do you think about the linked comparison i referenced ? This looks like the m9XX is only medicore even compared to the much cheaper products like the magni / modi 2 Uber

Don't think too hard man hahahahaha! They all sound good okay? I love my m9xx. I think most people who have HEARD the Magni/Modi and the m9xx give the nod to the m9xx. It's an awesome unit. Yes there is better out there, but stop worrying. Buy whatever your heart says okay? I love the Schiit stack.
