I am looking forna headset for electric guitar practice. Does anyone has experience with these headphones? I also don't want to disturb others, so how loud does the sound from the hgeadset spreads at open air?

digibillI would not recommend these for guitar or any instrumentals for that matter. Reason number one, Grado's sound signature is a bit more bassy but not thumping or masking. They have a beautiful mid range and some sparkly highs(depends on the ones you look at) but not overly sparkly to where it becomes harsh. Here's my suggestion, look for a flatter sounding headphone, typically you want to look at monitoring headphones. These are designed for reproducing music with no strings attached and I find them to be the absolute best for using an instrument/reviewing recordings of yourself. They give a neutral sound that is meant for "Monitoring" the sound you've created. These Grado are more for serious music listening rather than playing, if you're looking for something close to this price you can't go wrong with Audio Technicas ATH M50x's. They're a high quality pair of monitoring headphones that look nice, sound great, and are pretty neutral I'd highly recommend them.
