Founded in 1695, Graham is based in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the watchmaking capital of Switzerland. Known for its classically inspired timepieces, Graham creates high-quality watches that blend function and fashion brilliantly Read More
Clearly intended for aviation use-- function definitely trumps form with this one. I'd wear it flying. I probably wouldn't wear it to the supermarket.
Same deal with my Skyhawk Promaster, large dials with a ton of information can actually come in handy in aviation environments if you can get over the size/weight.
SirSilverMax$2k and you're lucky you missed it.
Wait, here's a better deal--you can save you $90,000 on this $330,000 must-have universe tracker from the same manufacturer:

A Graham replica was the first watch I ever owned. I actually like the trigger mechanism on first glance, I understand its not everyone's cup of tea. The problem is living with it. The trigger gets in the way, pinches at your shirt cuff and makes it a bit cumbersome. They have made this trigger thing iconic for their brand, probably thought it would be well received like the panerai crown guard. The trigger gets old soon, it's a shame they can't move away from the trigger, the rest of the watch is actually very good
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder Etc so forth and so on blah blah blah... However, I am of the ilk that when I look at something I go wow, and that could be good or of bad.
Wow what a horrible ugly looking thing, or Wow that thing is absolutely beautiful. I put this one in the form of category.
I absolutely love Chronos, they are my favorite style. Having said that I bought an Omega Seamaster Chrono many years ago on looks alone. Absolute beautiful watch. I could never wear it because it was just not right on my wrist. I ended up giving it to my #1 son who is six foot three and weighs 240. He's even said to me he doesn't wear it all that often because it's a little big and heavy. I like 42 mm watches, but having said that my 40mm Submariner looks absolutely perfect on my wrist. My Orient Ray 2 is 41.5 and actually looks a little smaller than my Rolex. My SKXs are 42 and to me they look smaller than my Rolex and the Orient. So, dimension, thicknesses, and band style have an awful lot to do with this. But to get back to the original statement, you either look at it and say beautiful or oh my God...ugly!
There’s a pretty watch beneath that unattractive crown and hideous crown guard. I just don’t get the audience for this one: people who enjoy spray-painting their names in illuminated manuscripts?
