Do you know today's date?
But in MD, there is a different kind of calendar?

mice9That's an estimate. In mice land, do you use a different language?

beltetI think it's fair to say that missing by over a month (when talking about a couple months scale) is pretty inaccurate. I think we should try to keep this civil.
In addition, it's unfair to say that production delays are unforgivable. MD was pretty clear that it would be later than expected even before the drop ended. There were a LOT of opportunities for learning in this drop...

jeepI agree totally to what you said. But I think that many need to chill a bit and understand that this drop was much more demand on then they ever could forthsee.

mice9Because they said when the re-opened the drop that it was going to be a longer delivery time! You had 24 hours to cancel your order if you were not happy. Buckle up and get on with it.
EpicFlyingBulbzThat doesn't seem to have been your attitude when the drop closed early. So how about letting people who are legitimately frustrated with the excessive delay and refusal to ship complete keysets while awaiting sets of three caps have their say without the condescension, please.

kbdobsessedHey I'm still waiting for mine too but I'm not complaining because I'm grateful that they re-opened it. People need to just buckle up and get on with it to be honest and stop complaining.
EpicFlyingBulbzNo they don't--people who are frustrated are entitled to voice that frustration. I'm glad you were able to get in on the drop and I'm sure MassDrop appreciates your patience.
EpicFlyingBulbzI've made some complaints, so let me clarify for you the reason. I am not upset that they reopened the drop which introduced the first delay (even though I was in before they closed it). I think it is great that more people got access to something they wanted, and I have no issue with added time because of that. I am not upset that SP took longer than their revised date because I understand things take time and an estimate is just that - an estimate. My complaint is also not that the RBG sets were delayed. Okay, these things happen, and I do understand that this is out of my control. These are all things I'm willing to deal with happily.
What I did have an issue with is that when the RBG sets were delayed, there was no estimated time that they would be completed. They were just "delayed". So, okay I can deal with that for a bit because perhaps they are waiting on something and they don't want to estimate a wrong date. But then they were still delayed with no end date, *and* the keys that were ready were just sitting there waiting. I now start to question why they can't ship they order they have. Then more time goes by and we are still waiting, and my order, which is 100% totally usable, is still just sitting there waiting for these keys to be done which *still* don't have an estimated date.
So, you see, my complaint was very specific - provide a reasonable date when everything will be shipped, or just ship what you have. I don't think it is unreasonable to voice valid concerns. I'm not saying rail against MD or SP, I don't think being rude, or otherwise inappropriate will help. But if you don't speak up when you have a complaint and/or concern it isn't likely to get addressed, wether that be for this drop or one in the future.
I'm very happy to see that they are expecting a shipment today. For the most part I think MD have done a good job with communications. It is just that last part about the no estimated date that concerned me. Also, I would like it if they had a comment about all the issues people have been running into with missing keys. I assume they are dealing with those one on one with the person who had the issue, but I'd be interested to know if they got resolved quickly.

InanisOkay I apologise as I misunderstood your complaints! I am rather annoyed myself that I have a functioning set minus the RGB mods sat waiting to be shipped and do completely agree that it is wrong for SP to not give an ETA. I only said what I said to mice9 because he was just complaining about the estimate being way off without taking any consideration for the huge amount of orders! Thank you for explaining your views, however, and allowing me to see your complaints clearly.
