Grids & Guides Visual Thinkers Set

From Princeton Architectural Press, this Grids & Guides Visual Thinkers Set is made for writing letters, creating lists, sketching designs, and mapping out your next big idea. You’ll get six notepads with 50 sheets apiece and one hardcover notebook with 144 pages; each of these is filled with different types of blank graphic paper, plus charts, tables, and other resources to spark your curiosity. To get you started, you’ll also receive a set of 12 hexagonal pencils—six graphite and six blue—and a multipurpose ruler with a protractor and die-cut circles.

Within each set, the three notepads feature three different grid styles. The ⅛-inch grid (blue) is great for plotting numerical data or sketching architectural plans. The isometric grid (green) can be used for drawing projections of 3D objects and making triangular tessellations. Finally, the log-log plot (red) comes in handy for graphing data on logarithmic scales, where monomials will appear as straight lines.

The hardcover notebooks differ in more than just color: Each has eight repeating grid designs interspersed with almanac-style information—like knot-tying techniques, the laws of motion, carpentry joints, and geometric theorems.
