Anyone know the difference between the Universal Phone mount and the New Universal Smartphone mount?

The new mount expands diagonally to hold the phone at the corners just like the ipad mount but smaller. The old universal mount expended sideways and is a little bulky for what it does. Hope that helps.

Handy device, but cheaper on Amazon..ony $30.00 for the Phone mount and with Prime membership the shipping is free....sorry Massdrop.

adbakkeThanks for pointing that out. There was a pricing error on our part for the Flexpod without the tablet mount. The price listed on the page is still more than Amazon, but you receive the tablet mount with that price and you can remove that option at checkout to save $10 if you don't need it.
