Nice pen, but I could not get it to write. Was able to squeeze some ink out of the point, but it does not flow at all. Maybe a defective nib? Very disappointed. Update: Found in the discussions someone with the same issue and manufacturer recommended soaking the nib in a water/alcohol mixture overnight to remove a possible dried ink clog (in a new pen?). Tried it and it works. Pen now writes.

Hello, gald you have fixed yourself this issue and yes is possible since often customers trying to start ink flow shake the pens in very hard way creating small air bubbles in the tiny ink capillary which should lead the ink to the nib. These air bubbles stop the ink flow. Washing the pen you have not dissolved the dry ink (as you guess is not possible in a new pen) but you have flushed away the air bubbles and then the ink start to flow in right way. No mistery ;-) Thank you for your purchase and best regards from Italy! Maurizio
