Received this pen a while ago. Gorgeous looking pen. However, I noticed something on my nib. It looks like there's some sort of discolouration on the top. Wiping it doesn't work, neither did trying to scrap at it with my fingernail. Can anyone please advise?

Sivart2905Hello, I'm not able to understand through a pic, however seem that some kind of acid have stained the black gold. I know that some kind of inks are more acid then other so the qusrtion is if you use a particular kind of ink. May be also that you nib have had some defect in black gold plating, this is possible as well. As any other things a percentage of defect is always possible. In the chance let me know some more details on the ink . You could also contact me straight and a spare part nib could be sent you if the nib is defected. Is enough to you Google Grifos pen Italy to get our contact. Regards from Italy. Maurizio

StubnibHi maurizio. Thanks for the prompt reply. I can't seem to access the grifos website somehow. Maybe it's got something to do with my location. I'm currently situated in Singapore. I have not used any other kind of ink except for the one that came with the pen. Is there any other way of contacting you? Maybe I can send you more pictures of the nib if required.
