Come on, no gold nib for $200? 🙄 No substitute for the flexibility.

IamNateDavis Couldn't agree with you more! I actually write with most of – okay, okay! some of - my fountain pens. A nib of stainless steel is . . . well, steel, sturdy steel, inflexible steel. Stainless steel nibs won't stain - this is important in a nib because . . .? Stainless steel inhibits the flow of ink across paper. Stainless steel never develops that characteristic penmanship that comes from use over time. I have some. They're as scratchy and resistant to flowing ink across paper today as they were when I first acquired them. [sigh] Why, oh why does this Grifos Bog Oak Wood fountain pen have to be so well manufactured and stunning in every other regard?
