I have really sweaty hands at times and I'm afraid that I would destroy this work of art. Could you guys please advise me weather or not that would create a significant issue for the wood ? would it crack or discolor ? It may be a silly question. but the reality of it is that I would hate myself for destroying something so beautiful. Plz advise.

AttilaVass Hello, thank you ,vede are glad you like it. I do not think there will be problems. This solid wood have survived for 5000 years into bog and I think it will survive to your hands as well! Joke aside it a really strong oak wood and we have had no problem about . I mean we have it in our catalog from 4 years and hundreds of them are now spread worldvide with no prolems. Also is not possIble ant discolor since it is the wood color not a paint. May be a small amount of bee wax ( the same sold for furniture care) may be needed seldom but again I think one time year no need more often. Always at your disposal and best regards from Italy.
