After my last two purchases here for Grifos fountain pens I am extremely disappointed with the quality of craftmanship . Pictures look great but thats the sale pitch if they would show the crappy side no one would buy these pens. You can see my review on one of them here ---> https://www.massdrop.com/buy/58615/reviews#reviews
DaddyDiBsHello, im sorry for your trouble and first of all we are at your disposal to help you and fix it. It could be happen and even if we use first quality writing parts from German nib company Bock a small statistics number could happend. They too have not infallibility. What is a pity is that you never contact us before at this time all was done and fixed... Is usual and also a your right contact producer but instead of do this you have preferred wait months keeping an not useful pen and then only now and in this way (reading your post) I'm able to know your problem. Why you do not have contact me or MD customer service before? Quality of a company is build also through customer service but if we are not contacted how we could show you it? How you fould think to have your mishap fixed? We are both and as usual at disposal of customers.. problem in life can happen but also can be fixed if only are know. Again we are at your disposal expecially now ! Just contact me in straigh way. Is enough you search from Grifos pens and on site you got our contact email. Regards. Maurizio

DaddyDiBsI have only one purchase from grifos but my experience was the exact opposite. My pen was spectacular, the workmanship top notch. I have one of his cheaper nib options in a double broad and while it's more of a regular B, it is a stunning writer and the guilloche sterling silver is to die for. I also love the overall weight, feel, balance, and the snap post that my oikos has. I have over a hundred pens all the way up to mont blanc and visconti, and my grifos fits right in as a top tier handmade pen. Sterling silver at this price has really made grifos one of the most stellar deals in fountain pens. The nibs are standard, too, so if you get a dud (which happens with everyone, visconti has something like an 80% failure rate on the dreamtouch nib) just swap in your favorite steel #6.

StubnibMy experience is similar to that of Honeybadgers. I have 2 Grifos pens in silver and wood and they look exactly like their pictures: stunning! The nibs write very smoothly and the ink flow is very good. I've not tried the cartridges, as I chose to use a wood brown ink to match the pen. I make silver jewellery, so I was looking for a pen to match my craft. I chose the Grifos ones because of the looks, the price and the combination with the lovely wood. It has become my favorite pen over the past few months. =)
gnomes_journalThank you! Glad you love our craftman work and writing quality. I must say that read this from work colleague craftman too make this endorsement more appreciate again! Best regards from Aosta Velly, Italy
