RayFIt uses I2C protocol, so there's very little to be smart about. This is designed to be used with some micro-controller and since it's digital you just read the value off of it using pre-made library. Using it for something useful is a different story. I can't think of an use case for myself where having temperature and humidity sensor on same board as CO2 is better than having ~25$ separate CO2 and humidity/temperature sensors.
