Just as a reminder/warning to everyone -- It is recommended that you remove the pins and place the watch face over the strap and add the pins back in order to avoid scratching the strap. For same faces, if you just try slipping the strap through, you might end up with a big scratch along the center. It can usually be buffed out but just try to avoid doing that in general.

GuardedGoods^this is good advice. The shell is thicker than your standard NATO strap, so it's probably not a good idea to try and squeeze it trough. Better to just pop the pins out like @GuardedGoods suggests.
