I bought the Vinyl Onyx Amber model and have been using them for about a week. I have 20/20 vision, and have only worn sunglasses and those only a couple times. I am currently on a medication called Isotretinoin which dries everything out, less tears oils etc. I get very dry eyes (redness, eye fatigue, dry burns so it hurts every time I look in an angle) I have to use eye drops regularly to help with this but I still am not able to go more than 2 hrs at a time without discomfort. I have tried flux and windows night mode, both gave me a slight improvement (e.g. 3 hrs instead of 2 when on full yellow) but ruin the colors and clarity for me and the improvement is nowhere near what I need.
The glasses changed everything, I can now go 8 hrs at a time of writing, watching movies/lectures or gaming, with no discomfort or redness, the colors look more accurate in a lot of ways; whites are more white, some greens and text are clearer too. I have a 14" 1080p display which often makes text a lot smaller than its supposed to be so the slight magnification helps me a lot with eye strain over trying to read text that is too small, although this took about 40 hrs to fully adjust to. For gaming I play mainly League of Legends and have noticed that its a lot easier to cs and look at my minimap at the same time, health bars are easier to see and I don't need to blink nearly as much.
Some negatives: First, they smudge like crazy I never touch the lenses but even the oil from your skin/eyebrows/hair which btw is all extremely minimal for me, will make them fog up the upper rim so be prepared to clean them with a lens cloth before every use if you don't want slight distracting foggy vision.
Second, these are glasses, you can see the frames in your peripheral vision which is bound to be distracting to people who never wear glasses, if u don't have terrible dry eyes like me they probably won't improve your gameplay.
Third, the model I have, the Vinyl, has nose rests, these can be slightly uncomfortable till u get used to them and after a couple hrs they leave marks on your nose that will stay there for awhile. This is normal for glasses with nose rests but if you never wear glasses you may not be aware of this. If you're thinking about which model to get from what I can tell you should get a model that doesn't have rests if you have a wider nose bridge that can keep them comfortably up on your nose. If you have a small nose bridge then you should get a model with nose rests.
And lastly, they might not work well with your headset, I have a Sennheiser PC350se and a Sennheiser Game One both work fine but if I don't get the part of the glasses behind my ears inside the the gameones ear cushions (which are on the smaller side) then they are in between the edge of the cushion and my skin which gets uncomfortable and achy after awhile, so that may take some finagling depending on your headset.
Overall an awesome eye saving product for me that I absolutely love but if u don't have dry eyes you probably don't need these.
