I have a few cheap pairs of blue light glasses that work great, and if I forget them at work i just use f.lux (an excellent free/donationware program that tints your screen for you)

SKFishMost monitors like most gaming monitors these days have a low blue light setting which makes the picture look more yellow as you turn it up to high (at least with mine). I figure these glasses do the same thing and make things look yellow.
I would rather use my monitor so I don't have to wear anything, but if you want to watch a movie or something going into the settings and taking 5 seconds to turn it off can get annoying so somebody may prefer the glasses. $30 seems pretty cheap consider how much t hey brand normally sells for, but I would only use the low blue light for something like reading.
