I'm a software engineer who works a lot of overtime too and these have been a literal God send. I use to get severe eyestrain as well as a headache from the eyestrain but these (Gunnar's with the clear lens) have reduced it severely. Later I won a free pair from a contest which has the original yellow lens, its much better than the clear in my opinion. If you spend a lot of time in front of a screen, I would definitely get these, worth every penny.
