Wanted to make a point to make others aware of my experience with this product. I ordered a pair of these just a bit ago in the last drop. Got mine in, and tried them for 3 or 4 days. Let me preface this by saying i DO NOT have any of the things these glasses claim to fix, such as dry eyes, eye fatigue, blurred vision after long periods of looking at screens, headaches, etc. My eyes are fine, and I bought these solely to see if the tint of the lenses and slight magnification would aid me in certain games.
While the tint was different to get use to, and did make the screen much brighter, and the slight magnification was noticeable, especially when looking at text, it really wasn't anything significant. As for their claims to reduce DEF (Digital Eye Fatigue) and other such claims, it in fact did the opposite. My eyes got dry and fatigued, and I got pretty bad headaches after about an hour of use. I thought the first day or two was just my eyes trying to adjust to wearing glasses, but as it went on and day three and day 4 rolled around and it persisted, I realized this MUST be due to the glasses. I am on a computer from the time I wake up to the time I go to bed. (I am a network engineer, so computers and technology are my life.)
Again, I'm not saying this WILL have the same effects on everyone, and it might help those who say they need it, but I noticed nothing but negative results from these, and to be honest, these did nothing more than a cheap pair of reading glasses from a department store. Another thing to be careful about if you do decide to purchase these, is that GUNNAR will not take them back. I looked up the return policy for them on their website, and they state no returns if items are not purchased directly from their website. I even emailed them for assistance and clarification and they refused the return. I am currently waiting on a reply from Massdrop to see if they will return my purchase and give me a refund for this product.
Not trying to scare anyone away here, but just trying to provide some honest insight through first hand experience. Please feel free to give them a shot yourself, but only if you are comfortable with having wasted 50 dollars if they don't work, and if you are prepared for them to negatively affect your vision/health.
