Product Description
Virtually every device we use (monitors, phone screens, TVs, etc.) emits a high-frequency signal called blue light. When our eyes are exposed to blue light it can cause eye strain, headaches, blurred vision, and a host of other unwanted problems Read More

I don't know why I'm even looking at this drop. I have too many gunnar glasses. I like the intercept frame, and over some time I've gotten 5 different pairs of those frames in different colors with different lenses; onyx work-play, onyx crystalline, onyx circ, and two outdoor lens, one with a raven frame, and one with dark ale 24k. Those last two were part of buy-one-get-one promos, at least partially absolving myself of the guilt of owning 3 pairs of sunglasses. The work-play are the most versatile, as they should be equivalent to amber lenses indoors, and gray sunglasses outdoors in terms of blue light transmission, though I don't believe they block as much of the rest of visible light as the gray lenses. Of the pairs of gray lens sunglasses I have, I do like the feel of the dark ale frame material, and the 24k series hinge hardware move with less resistance. The other pair of outdoor glasses I have are the pair I take with me hiking, as if I had to pick a pair of glasses to fall off of my face down a ravine, that one would leave me least bummed out. I don't know how I feel about the Circ lenses (sort of blue sunglasses). The promo information I can find suggests it has the same 90% blue light protection, while claiming to "harness the benefits of good blue" in terms of preserving your circadian rhythm, but I don't really know if I have the problem that claims to correct. The crystalline lenses I got because one of my workspaces is just poorly lit, and even wearing the amber lenses feels like I'm wearing sunglasses at night. I am a little curious about the liquet lens, but that doesn't appear to be an option on this drop so I'm probably safe. But if next time I see a tortoise 24k intercept frame with liquet lenses next drop, I'll probably be filled with further disappointment in my ratio of pairs of gunnars to pairs of eyes. Luckily I don't think they actually make that combination.

It would have been useful to some of us with less than perfect eyesight if the Gunnar Optiks computer reading glasses also had been included in this drop.

WizzlightWell then, try to be a little more specific next time, so that the buyers can get you what you want. Because you basically requested a product that they have already. Hopefully this is seen and they can get you what you want. I however would really like Razer FPS

JaysunHi Jaysun. I'm just curious, from what I see, computer glasses tends to have amber tint on the lenses, does Haus - Onyx - Crystalline glasses (clear lenses as I can see) would still protect your eyes from the blue light? Thanks

There is a difference between blue light filtering glasses and computer glasses. Blue light filtering glasses just filter out blue light. Computer glasses have lenses with an optical center that encourage your eyes to focus on things that are close, like computer screens. This guy explains it much better. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGg77uSecQA
