I just used a power cord I had from a spare computer PSU.
There is a slight start-up delay (like a second) after pressing the power button before the light fully illuminates.
If it doesn't turn on, then maybe you have a lemon, the cord may be bad, or perhaps the unit wasn't set to the right voltage. If you open it up, between the two transformers there should be switches for you to change from 220v to 120v and vice versa.

Wow I don't know I can switch between two voltages... I tried the cord with my computer and it works well, so the C2G cord is the problem. I'm waiting for another cord from Amazon, hope the new one work.
